Cookies and device storage

Effective 19 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-19 · AutoThink Group Ltd trading as AutoQuit

AutoQuit uses strictly necessary storage, and optional Google Analytics cookies only if you choose Allow. We don't use advertising cookies.

Google Analytics (optional)

If you allow it, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) counts which pages are visited and simple actions such as "journal saved". We never send what you write, what you say to Alex, your habits or urges, and children's accounts and screens are never tracked. Advertising features and Google signals are off. You can change your choice by clearing this site's storage.

What we store on your device

• Sign-in: keeps you signed in. On the phone app this is kept in the phone's secure storage.
• Habits saved on this device: if you use AutoQuit without an account, or while offline, your habits and pending changes are stored on your device until they're saved to your account or you clear them.
• Small preferences: for example whether you've seen the welcome screen, or a join link you're part-way through.

You can clear these at any time by signing out or clearing your browser or app data. See the Privacy policy for more.
